Examples of Personal Care Services We Provide:

  • Planning, preparing, and cleaning up after meals
  • Making beds and changing linens—with or without the client in bed
  • Bathing, showering, and bed baths for non-ambulatory individuals
  • Brushing and combing hair, and gentle shampooing
  • Oral hygiene: brushing teeth and cleaning dentures when needed
  • Shaving with an electric or safety razor (electric preferred for fragile skin)
  • Cleaning and trimming fingernails and toenails (unless medically contraindicated)
  • Assistance with dressing, toileting, grooming, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
